Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 100 g sugar
- 2 vanilla pods
- 200 g butter
- 100 g peeled almond kernels
- powdered sugar (for dusting)

Slice the vanilla pods lengthwise and scrape out the seeds into the sugar. Quickly knead the flour with soft butter, 70g of vanilla-sugar mixture, and almonds into a dough; shape it into a ball, wrap in foil, and chill for at least 30 minutes.

Roll the dough into a log, cut into 2 cm pieces, shape into crescents, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 175 °C for 10 minutes, then carefully lift from the tray and roll in remaining sugar.
