Turmeric Spread

The Turmeric spread from Spoonsparrow adds color to bread and scores with plenty of protein.

Ingredients

  • 250 g cottage cheese
  • 3 tbsp sesame (15 g)
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • Sea salt
  • Pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Chili flakes
  • 0.5 pack green watercress
  • 0.5 pack red watercress

Instructions

    Blend the cottage cheese with 2 tbsp sesame, turmeric and olive oil in a blender until coarse.

    Peel and finely chop the garlic, then stir it into the turmeric spread.

  3. 3.

    Season everything with salt, pepper and chili flakes, tasting to adjust.

    Divide the spread into one large or four small bowls. Sprinkle chopped watercress from the garden along with remaining sesame over the spread.
