Turkey Roll-Ups with Ham and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 640 g turkey breast fillet (8 thin slices)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sweet Paprika Powder
  • 80 g cooked ham (8 thin slices)
  • 120 g Gouda cheese (8 slices)
  • 1 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 40 g lamb's lettuce (about 1 handful)
  • 1 Organic lemon
  • toothpicks

Instructions

    Rinse the turkey breast fillets under cold water, pat dry, gently flatten with a mallet and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Place one slice of ham and one slice of cheese on each fillet, roll up, and secure with toothpicks.

    Heat oil in an oven‑proof skillet over high heat. Brown the rolls all around for 1–2 minutes. Transfer to a preheated oven at 180 °C (160 °C fan) or gas level 2–3 and bake for 5 minutes until cooked through.

    Meanwhile, wash and dry lamb's lettuce, then arrange on four plates. Rinse the lemon under hot water, pat dry, and cut into four wedges; place one wedge on each plate.

    Slice the finished roll‑ups in half and serve atop the prepared salad.
