Turkey Roast with Honey Glaze and Vegetables

Spoonsparrow turkey roast with honey glaze and vegetables is a delicious recipe for festive occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 Turkey breast fillet (about 2 kg)
  • 4 Carrots
  • 4 onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 250 ml meat broth
  • 3 tbsp honey

Instructions

    Wash and pat dry the turkey breast. Peel carrots, onions, and garlic. Cut carrots and onions into large pieces. Season the meat with salt and pepper and sear it in hot oil in a roasting pan over medium heat from all sides. Add the vegetables and roast in a preheated oven at 180 °C (fan 160 °C; gas: level 2–3) for about 20 minutes.

    Add some broth and simmer gently for another approximately 50 minutes, periodically spooning liquid over the meat and adding more broth if needed. During the last 10 minutes glaze the meat with honey.
