Turkey Meatballs with Bean Sprouts and Pineapple

Ingredients

  • 600 g turkey breast fillet (pre‑cooked)
  • 1 piece ginger (3 cm)
  • 4 tbsp light soy sauce
  • Salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • chili powder
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 3 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 250 g fresh pineapple
  • 2 tbsp sprouting oil
  • 150 g fresh bean sprouts

Instructions

    Wash the turkey, pat dry and cut into bite‑sized pieces. Peel the ginger and dice very finely. Mix with 1–2 tbsp soy sauce, salt, pepper, chili powder, sesame oil and crushed garlic. Toss the meat in the mixture and let it marinate in the fridge for one hour.

    Peel the pineapple slices, remove the core and cut the fruit into strips. Heat oil in a wide pan and quickly brown the turkey pieces. Add the pineapple strips. Rinse the bean sprouts under running water, drain and add to the pan, stir‑frying constantly. Pour in the remaining marinade, taste and serve hot.
