Tuna Bean Salad

A tuna bean salad with a subtle onion note – perfect for a light lunch break or as a side to grilled dishes.

Ingredients

  • 600 g white beans (canned)
  • 200 g tuna (in its own juice, canned)
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 1 tbsp capers (canned)
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • Salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)

Instructions

    Rinse the beans under a sieve and let them drain well. Drain the tuna as well and flake it with a fork. Peel the onion and slice it into thin rings.

    Drain the capers and mix them with the tuna, beans, olive oil, and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Distribute the tuna bean salad onto bowls and garnish with the onion rings before serving.
