Ingredients

  • 4 bagels
  • 4 lettuce leaves (e.g., Lollo bianco)
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 Avocados
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Shallot
  • 350 g canned tuna
  • 4 tbsp heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp capers
  • Salt
  • ground pepper

Instructions

    Slice the bagels horizontally and open them. Wash and dry the lettuce. Rinse, peel, and cut the cucumber into thin strips lengthwise. Halve the avocados, remove the pit, peel, and slice into strips. Drizzle with lemon juice. Peel and finely dice the shallot. Drain the tuna and flake it with a fork. Mix in the heavy cream and shallot. Add capers, salt, and pepper to taste.

    Place a lettuce leaf on each bagel half. Spoon the tuna salad onto the lettuce, top with avocado slices, and arrange cucumber strips over them. Cover with the other bagel half and enjoy.
