Trout with Dill

Fresh trout grilled to perfection with dill and citrus, a savory summer dish from Spoonsparrow.

Ingredients

  • 1200 g trout (4 whole trout; ready-to-cook)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 Organic lemons
  • 1 bundle dill
  • 4 tsp olive oil

Instructions

    Rinse the trout under cold water, pat dry and season inside and out with salt and pepper.

    Wash the lemons, pat dry and slice into very thin rounds. Wash the dill, shake dry and trim the tips.

    Place the trout on fish grill tongs, top inside and outside with lemon slices and dill, drizzle each side with 1 tsp olive oil. Close and lock the tongs. Grill the trout with dill for 20–25 minutes over high heat.
