Tomato-Zucchini Gratin

Ingredients
- oil (for greasing the dish)
- 2 Zucchini
- 800 g tomatoes
- 200 g grated cheese (e.g., Emmental)
- 2 tbsp fresh chopped thyme
- Salt
- pepper (ground)
- 150 g crème fraîche
- 3 eggs
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180 °C fan‑forced. Grease a baking dish with oil.

Wash, peel and slice the zucchini and tomatoes into about 1 cm thick rounds. Alternate layers of zucchini and tomato in the dish. Sprinkle each layer with roughly half of the cheese and thyme, then season with salt and pepper. Whisk together the crème fraîche and eggs, pour over the vegetables, and top with the remaining cheese.

Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
