Ingredients

  • 3 red onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 thick leek stalk
  • 300 g chicken breast fillet
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 400 g pizza tomatoes
  • iodized salt, freshly ground pepper
  • 2 tbsp mild curry powder
  • instant chicken broth
  • 830 g lentils with soup vegetables (canned)
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 100 g heavy cream
  • 2-3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 bunch chopped parsley

Instructions

    Peel and finely dice onions and garlic. Clean the leek and slice into rings. Cut the chicken breast fillet into strips. Heat oil in a pot, briefly brown the chicken strips, then add the prepared vegetables and sauté for 5 minutes.

    Stir in tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, sprinkle curry powder, and simmer while stirring. After 5 minutes add the chicken broth and lentils, cover the pot. Meanwhile finely chop parsley and dice the bell pepper.

    After 30 minutes add cream and cook for another 3 minutes. Season with lemon juice and iodized salt. Serve the soup garnished with parsley and diced bell pepper.
