Tofu with Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 30 g dried Mu-Err mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 300 g snow peas
  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 500 g Tofu
  • 4 tbsp sesame oil (light)
  • 1 tsp five-spice mix
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice
  • 4 tbsp mixed sesame seeds

Instructions

    Place the Mu-Err mushrooms in a bowl with soy sauce and sugar, then pour boiling water over them. Let soak for about 20 minutes, then drain and leave whole or halve depending on size.

    Meanwhile wash the snow peas and remove strings if needed. Wash, deseed, and finely chop the chilies. Dice the tofu.

    Heat a wok, add oil, and stir-fry the snow peas with mushrooms and chilies for about 2 minutes. Set aside and add tofu. Fry until crisp on all sides, sprinkle with five-spice powder, season with soy sauce and lime juice. Mix with vegetables, taste, and serve sprinkled with sesame seeds.
