Tofu Vegetable Skewers

Ingredients

  • 250 g tofu (12 cubes)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 large red bell pepper
  • 2 green peppercorns
  • 1 large onion
  • Salt
  • ground black pepper
  • oil
  • 8 wooden skewers

Instructions

    Soak the wooden skewers for about 30 minutes.

    Marinate the tofu cubes in soy sauce for 30 minutes.

    Wash the bell pepper, halve it, remove seeds and cut into 16 strips. Wash the green peppercorns, clean them, slice lengthwise, remove seeds and cut into 8 pieces; peel the onion lengthwise and quarter it.

    Thread onion wedges, bell pepper strips, tofu cubes and green peppercorn pieces onto each of two skewers, brush with a little oil, season with salt and pepper, and grill for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally.
