Tarte Tatin

Ingredients
- 4 sour apples
- 75 g butter
- 100 g sugar
- 0.5 pack puff pastry (225 g)
- 1 tbsp flour

Let the puff pastry thaw while lying side by side.

Peel the apples and cut them into 1 cm wide wedges. In the meantime, melt the butter in a pan, add the sugar, and stir constantly to make a light caramel. Set the pan aside and layer the apples on top. Place the thawed puff pastry on top of the apples; roll it slightly on a floured surface, cut to match the pan size, and lay it over the apples; press the edges down gently.

Bake the tart in a preheated oven at 225°C for about 25 minutes until crisp brown, then remove.

Cover the pan with a large plate, pour the hot contents onto the plate (be careful – very hot!), and serve immediately.
