Ingredients
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 250 g Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
- 1 tsp hot paprika powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- Salt
- ground pepper
- vegetable oil (for the tray)
Instructions

Rinse the chicken drumsticks and pat dry. Prick all over several times with a small, sharp knife to allow the marinara to penetrate better.

Peel and press the garlic. Mix ginger, yogurt, all spices, honey, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a bowl and stir well. Rub the mixture onto the chicken and cover; refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F) with upper and lower heat.

Place the chicken on an oiled baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes. Brush again with some marinara after about 15 minutes. Serve with rice and corn chips if desired.
