Tacos with Steak Salad Filling

Ingredients

  • 150 g beef fillet
  • 1 tsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3 large lettuce leaves (e.g., iceberg, endive, romaine)
  • 1 tomato
  • avocado
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • spring onions
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • 40 g salad cream (2 tbsp)
  • 2 tsp grated cheese (Emmental or Gouda)
  • 2 taco shells

Instructions

    Cut the beef fillet into bite-sized pieces. Mix ketchup, soy sauce, salt and pepper and marinate the fillet pieces in it.

    Wash the lettuce leaves and cut them into strips. Wash the tomato, halve it, remove seeds and slice into wedges. Cut half an avocado, peel it, dice it and mix with lemon juice. Wash and trim the spring onion, then slice into thin rings. Mix all vegetables together.

    Heat olive oil in a pan. Sear the meat around 3–4 minutes on high heat, then continue cooking over medium heat.

    Combine the meat with the salad cream and cheese, stir into the vegetable mix, and fill the taco shells.
