Ingredients

  • 2 T‑Bone steaks
  • lemons (juice)
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • 100 ml red wine
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • clarified butter
  • Frozen French fries (ready for 2 people)
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp pickled green peppercorns
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 Spring onion

Instructions

  1. 1.

Wash the meat and pat it dry. Mix oil, wine, lemon juice, salt and pepper; marinate the steak in this mixture covered in the refrigerator for 24 hours, turning once. Take out 2 hours before cooking, let drain well.

  2. 2.

Heat a bit of clarified butter in a pan and sear the steaks over high heat on both sides, then reduce the temperature and cook for about 10–15 minutes (to your preference) while turning occasionally. Let rest covered for 5 minutes.

  3. 3.

Prepare frozen fries according to package instructions. Roast tomatoes in a preheated oven at 200 °C for about 5–8 minutes.

  4. 4.

Serve by placing the steaks on plates, sprinkling with chopped spring onions and pepper, and arranging the fries and roasted tomatoes alongside.
