Ingredients

  • 4 swordfish steaks (about 160 g each)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 100 g mixed salad
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 100 ml lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp pickled capers
  • 1 lemon (sliced)

    Drizzle the fish steaks with lemon juice and let marinate for 10 minutes. In the meantime, wash the salads thoroughly for garnish, drain, and cut into bite-sized pieces.

    Heat oil in a pan and sear the steaks on both sides for 2-3 minutes. Peel the garlic and finely dice it. After half of the cooking time, add the garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest; simmer gently for another 2 minutes. Finally, add the capers and serve with lemon slices and a salad garnish.
