Ingredients
- 800 g low‑fat quark
- 3 eggs
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 140 g flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- Salt
- 200 g butter
- 150 g breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp cinnamon‑sugar mix

Knead the quark with the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, flour and baking powder. Shape the dough into a 3–4 cm wide and 2 cm high roll and cut 1 cm thick slices. Bring plenty of salted water to a boil in a pot and let the dumplings cook over low heat until they rise to the surface. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain.

Melt the butter in a pan, sprinkle in the breadcrumbs and brown them golden brown. Stir in the cinnamon‑sugar mix, add the drained dumplings and gently toss to coat. Serve plated on a dish.
