Sweet Pasta Bake

A sweet pasta bake featuring fresh apples and a creamy sauce from Spoonsparrow.

Ingredients

  • 500 g Spaghettini
  • 5 sour apples
  • juice of one lemon
  • 5 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 4 tbsp raisins
  • 300 ml whipping cream
  • 2 Eggs
  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp bourbon vanilla

Instructions

    Wash apples, halve them, remove cores and slice thinly. Drizzle with lemon juice. Whisk together cream, sugar, vanilla, and eggs.

    Preheat oven to 200°C. Cook Spaghettini in plenty of salted water until al dente; drain.

    Layer Spaghettini and apple slices in a baking dish. Pour the egg‑cream mixture over them and sprinkle with raisins and sunflower seeds. Bake for 35 minutes until golden yellow. Optionally dust with extra sugar before serving.
