Ingredients

  • 250 g fine rolled oats
  • 100 g coarsely ground rolled oats
  • 100 g coarse rolled oat groats
  • 200 g brown cane sugar
  • 325 g butter
  • 50 g beetroot syrup
  • 50 g Pumpkin seeds
  • 50 g raisins (to taste)
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 160°C. Mix raisins, pumpkin seeds, oats and cane sugar in a bowl.

    Heat beetroot syrup and butter slowly in a saucepan, then combine thoroughly with the oat mixture.

    Spread the batter evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to a thickness of 1 cm.

    Bake in the oven for about 20–30 minutes until golden brown. Cut into 4×4 cm squares and cool on a wire rack.
