Ingredients
- 200 ml milk
- 20 ml cherry brandy
- 1 Tbsp vanilla sugar
- 3 eggs
- 6 butter kipferl (or about 250 g milk rolls)
- butter (for the pan)
- 100 g butter
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions

Whisk the milk with cherry brandy, vanilla sugar and one egg. Slice the kipferl into 1 cm thick pieces. Place them in a greased ovenproof dish, pour the milk mixture over and let soak for about 10 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top and bottom heat).

Beat the butter with sugar until creamy, then fold in the remaining eggs and yolks.

Fold the cream into the soaked kipferl and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.

Remove from oven and dust with powdered sugar.
