Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • salt, nutmeg
  • 250 ml milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 125 ml milk
  • butter or margarine (for frying)

Instructions

    Mix flour with salt and nutmeg, whisk into a smooth batter with the first 250 ml milk. Separate yolks from whites; beat yolks with the remaining 125 ml milk.

    Whisk egg whites to stiff peaks and fold them gently into the batter in stages. Heat butter or margarine in a pan. Spoon about one ladleful of batter into the hot pan.
