Strawberry-Raspberry Bowle

Fresh strawberries and raspberries unite into a sparkling strawberry-raspberry bowle – perfect for guests. Spoonsparrow has the recipe!

Ingredients

  • 150 g Strawberries
  • 150 raspberries
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar from raw cane sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp raspberry syrup
  • 2 sprigs Basil
  • 750 ml well-chilled champagne (or non-alcoholic sparkling wine)

Instructions

    Clean and wash the berries, set aside a few strawberries for garnish, dice the rest into small cubes. Marinate with powdered sugar, lemon juice, and raspberry syrup for about 15 minutes.

    Wash the basil and shake dry. Cut large leaves into smaller pieces, leave whole the tiny leaflets.

    Distribute the berries and basil in glasses, pour over champagne, and decorate the strawberry-raspberry bowle with the reserved strawberries.
