Strawberry Chocolate No-Bake Cake

Spoonsparrow presents for the next outdoor coffee table: a strawberry chocolate no-bake cake – simply very, very delicious!

Ingredients

  • 300 g dark chocolate
  • 75 g coconut oil
  • 100 ml whipping cream
  • 75 g chopped hazelnuts
  • 750 g strawberries
  • 400 g quark
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 400 ml whipping cream
  • 2 packets gelatin powder
  • 2 tbsp rolled hazelnuts
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

    Coarsely chop the chocolate and melt it with coconut oil and whipping cream over a hot, non-boiling water bath while stirring. Remove from heat and fold in the nuts.

    Line a springform pan with parchment paper and fill it with the chocolate mixture. Smooth the surface and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

    Wash, pit, and pat dry the strawberries. Whisk the quark with lemon juice and powdered sugar until smooth. Beat the whipping cream with gelatin powder to stiff peaks; fold half into the quark mixture and gently fold in the remaining whipped cream.

    Spread about half of the strawberries over the chocolate base and spoon the creamy layer on top. Top with the remaining berries, sprinkle hazelnuts, dust with powdered sugar, and serve the no-bake strawberry chocolate cake.
