Ingredients
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 Shallot
- 1 tsp mild paprika powder
- 75 ml apple cider vinegar
- 75 g brown sugar
- 400 g Strawberries
- 4 mild chili peppers
- salt to taste
- cayenne pepper to taste

Place the coriander, mustard seeds and bay leaf in a spice bag and seal tightly. Peel and finely dice the shallot. Combine the spice bag, paprika powder, about 50 ml water, vinegar and sugar; bring to a boil and simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Add more water if needed.

Wash, clean and halve the strawberries. Wash the chili peppers, cut off the stems and slice into rings. Add both to the spice broth and simmer with occasional stirring for about 10 minutes until reduced. Remove the spice bag, let the chutney cool, then season with salt and cayenne pepper.
