Steamed Salmon Fillet with Vegetables

Steamed salmon fillet with vegetables from Spoonsparrow is always delicious.

Ingredients

  • 2 carrots
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 leek
  • 300 g broccoli
  • 600 g salmon fillet
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 200 ml vegetable broth (without flavor enhancers, yeast and sugar)
  • 200 ml fish broth (without flavor enhancers, yeast and sugar)
  • 4 sprigs Parsley
  • steamer basket

Instructions

    Peel, trim, halve lengthwise and slice carrots into thin rounds.

    Wash, trim, optionally de-stem celery and cut diagonally into slices. Slice leek lengthwise, wash, trim and cut into strips.

    Wash, trim broccoli and divide into florets. Peel the stalk and dice small cubes.

  4. 4.

    Rinse salmon fillet under cold water, pat dry and cut into four equal pieces. Season with salt and pepper.

    Bring broths to a boil in a pot. Wash parsley.

  6. 6.

    Distribute vegetables in a bamboo steamer, season with salt and pepper. Place salmon pieces on top, garnish with parsley and seal the steamer. Hang the steamer over the broth and steam for about 10 minutes.
