Spicy Kale with Bratwurst

Ingredients

  • 650 g fresh kale
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 500 g bratwurst
  • 2 tbsp plant oil
  • Salt
  • ground black pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

    Rinse, wash, and remove the tough stems from the kale; shake dry. Blanch in boiling salted water for 3-4 minutes, then cool under cold running water and drain well.

    Peel the garlic and slice into very thin rounds. Wash the chili and chop it with or without seeds as desired. Cut the bratwurst into 3 cm pieces and brown them in a pan with hot oil until golden.

    Add the kale, garlic, and chili to the pan; cook for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg, taste, and serve immediately.
