Ingredients

  • 20 chicken wings (pre‑cooked)
  • 80 ml corn germ oil
  • 60 ml chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp hot paprika powder
  • 2 tbsp sweet paprika powder
  • Salt
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 400 g tomato puree
  • 100 ml ketchup
  • 0.5 untreated lime (juice)
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

    Whisk the corn germ oil with the chicken broth, all paprika powders and salt in a bowl; add the chicken wings, pat dry, toss thoroughly and let marinate for about 2 hours. Remove with tongs, place on a preheated grill and cook 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally.

    Peel and finely crush the garlic. Wash the chili pepper, halve it lengthwise, remove seeds and white membranes, then finely chop the flesh. Mix tomato puree, ketchup, lime juice, garlic and chili in a bowl; add one tablespoon of oil, blend until smooth, strain if desired, season with salt, and serve with the chicken wings.
