Grilled Chicken Wings

Who would have thought fast food could be so healthy? The grilled chicken wings score with plenty of B vitamins!

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 100 g ketchup
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • chili powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1.2 kg chicken wings

Instructions

    Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté until translucent. Add ketchup, a splash of water, tomato paste, and vinegar. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt, and pepper, then bring to a boil.

    Simmer over medium heat, partially covered, stirring occasionally for about 15 minutes. Remove from heat, taste, and let cool.

    Wash the chicken wings, pat dry, and split at the joints. Thread onto long metal skewers and coat with the sauce. Grill over high heat, turning regularly, for about 15 minutes, brushing with more sauce during grilling. Serve with any remaining sauce on the side.
