Spicy Chicken Curry
Spicy Chicken Curry with Ginger and Tomatoes: This Indian-style chicken überzeugt durch its richness of aroma and pleasant spiciness.
Ingredients
- 350 g Chicken breast fillet
- 50 g Tikka Masala paste
- 3 tbsp Plain yogurt
- 3 small red onions
- 30 g ginger (1 piece)
- 1 tbsp oil
- 425 g Canned tomatoes (drained)
- 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 75 g Soy cream
- Salt
- black pepper
- Black cumin (optional)
Instructions

Rinse the chicken breast fillet and pat it dry. First cut it into thick strips, then dice it.

Mix the Tikka Masala spice mix and plain yogurt in a bowl, add the chicken cubes and mix well.

Peel the onions and cut them into wide strips. Peel the ginger and finely chop it. Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the onions and ginger for 2-3 minutes. Add the chicken cubes and fry for another minute.

Chop the canned tomatoes slightly, add them with the tomato paste and 125 ml of water to the pan, bring to a boil once. Cover and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat.

At the end of the cooking time, pour in some soy cream and bring back to a boil. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with the remaining soy cream. Sprinkle with black cumin if desired. Goes well with plain rice.
