Ingredients

  • 2 onions
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 pretzels
  • 1 l meat broth (instant or freshly cooked from the day before)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tbsp chives

Instructions

    Peel the onions and slice them into thin rings. Heat the butter and brown the onions in it until golden.

    Slice the pretzels into rounds and toast them under the oven grill on both sides until golden. Bring the meat broth to a quick boil. Distribute the pretzel slices onto four plates, pour the broth over them, season with salt and pepper, and serve sprinkled with toasted onion rings and chives.
