Spiced Orange Schnapps for Christmas

Ingredients

• 1 untreated orange
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 1 tsp cardamom seeds
• 1 tsp fennel seeds
• 800 ml korn
• 100 g honey

Instructions

   Wash the orange hot and cut off the peel (without white skin). Place the orange, cinnamon, cardamom, and fennel in a vessel and pour over the korn. Seal well and let steep for about 2 weeks.

   Heat the honey with 200 ml water (do not boil) and dissolve. Cool, then mix with the filtered infusion and bottle. Seal tightly and rest another 2 weeks.
