- 750 ml water
- 170 ml white wine vinegar
- 1 Carrot
- 3 onions
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tbsp mustard seeds
- 6 juniper berries
- 2 cloves
- 10 white peppercorns
- 1 tsp salt
- 12 raw Nürnberger roast sausages
Instructions

Peel the carrot and slice it into rounds.

Peel the onion, halve it, and cut into strips.

Heat water with vinegar, add the carrot, onions, and all spices, then simmer with salt over low heat for about 20 minutes.

Place the sausages in the broth, cover, remove from heat immediately, and let the sausages soak for about 15 minutes.

Serve the finished sausages in a large terrine.
