Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 200 g smoked trout fillet
  • 2 pickles
  • 1 bundle dill
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 250 g pumpernickel bread crumbs
  • arugula
  • 100 g smoked trout fillet

Instructions

    Boil the eggs for about 10 minutes until hard, cool, peel and roughly chop. Peel the onion, finely dice it, cook in hot butter over low heat for 5-7 minutes until soft but not browned, then let it cool.

    Coarsely chop the trout and pickles. Mix both with the onion, season with salt and pepper, and fold in chopped dill. Spread the mixture onto the bread crumbs and garnish with arugula, dill, and smoked trout pieces.
