Small Pear Strudel

Ingredients
- 4 pears
- 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 0.5 lemon (juice)
- 40 g almond sticks
- 200 g strudel dough
- 30 g melted butter (for brushing)
- 20 g sliced almonds
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions

Peel the pears, quarter them, remove the core and dice into cubes. Mix with vanilla sugar, brown sugar, lemon juice and almond sticks.

Preheat the oven to 200°C fan.

Cut the strudel dough into approximately 20x20 cm squares. Brush each sheet with butter and spread the pear mixture on the lower third. Fold in the sides, roll into small strudels, place seam side down on a parchment-lined baking tray. Brush with remaining butter, sprinkle sliced almonds and bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.

Remove from oven and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
