Sliced Chicken with Mushrooms

Sliced chicken with mushrooms from Spoonsparrow is easy and delicious and always tastes great!

Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast fillet
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 shallots
  • 600 g Champignons
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 500 g Broccoli (1 Broccoli)
  • 100 ml milk (3.5% fat)
  • 100 g Cream cheese (30% fat i. Tr.)
  • chili flakes

Instructions

    Rinse the meat, pat dry, and cut into strips. Season with salt and pepper. Peel and finely dice the shallots. Clean and slice the champignons.

    Heat oil in a pan. Brown the meat in it over medium heat for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally. While doing so, clean, wash, and cut the broccoli into florets, peel the stalk, and slice it. Cook the florets and stalk slices in boiling salted water over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until al dente. Then remove and drain.

    Remove the meat from the pan and set aside. Sauté the shallots and mushrooms in the pan drippings over medium heat for 3 minutes, then add milk and cream cheese and simmer gently for 2 minutes over medium heat.

    Return the meat to the pan and season everything with salt, pepper, and chili flakes, and simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve the sliced chicken with broccoli.
