Ingredients

  • 4 calf bratwurst
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • pickled silver onions (from jar)
  • mustard (coarse-grained)
  • Pepper (freshly ground)

Instructions

    Cut the calf bratwurst into pieces. Wash the bell peppers, halve them, remove seeds and cut into large chunks.

    Drain the pickled silver onions. Skewer alternating pieces of bratwurst, bell pepper chunks, and silver onions onto metal skewers and grill them over hot charcoal (or a tabletop grill) on both sides. Serve sprinkled with plenty of pepper. Provide mustard on the side.
