Ingredients

  • 2 slices of toast bread (un-toasted)
  • 300 g mixed ground meat
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 4 Tbsp sunflower oil
  • 5 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 30 g sesame seeds (for rolling)
  • 30 g flaxseeds (for rolling)
  • 10 Cherry tomatoes
  • 100 g cucumber salad

Instructions

  1. 1.

Crush the toast bread and mix with the ground meat. Add eggs and breadcrumbs, season with paprika, salt, and pepper, then knead the mixture well with both hands.

  2. 2.

Heat oil in a non-stick pan; using wet hands form small balls and fry them in batches for 5-6 minutes until cooked through. Remove and drain on kitchen paper.

  3. 3.

Roll the meatballs in sweet chili sauce, then coat with sesame or flaxseeds.

  4. 4.

Wash cherry tomatoes and cucumber. Halve the tomatoes and slice the cucumber. Skewer each halved tomato with a cucumber slice onto a meatball and serve in a colorful bowl.
