- 600 g mixed ground meat
- 1 day‑old roll
- 1 egg
- 1 onion
- 80 g sunflower seeds
- 4 Carrots
- 0.5 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- 100 g watercress
- 50 g alfalfa sprouts
- 1 small can corn
- 2 tbsp fruit vinegar
- 6 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt

Soak the roll in lukewarm water, squeeze out excess liquid and mix with ground meat, salt, and pepper. Peel and finely chop the onion. Wash the carrots, trim ends, grate coarsely, drizzle with lemon juice, and knead everything into the meat mixture along with the egg and sunflower seeds. Shape into balls, heat butter and oil in a pan, and brown the patties on all sides for 10 minutes.

For the salad, wash the watercress, drain the corn, and combine with alfalfa sprouts. Whisk together vinegar, oil, salt, and pepper to make a dressing, drizzle over the salad, and serve alongside the meat patties.
