Smoked salmon toasts: The slices provide fiber, omega‑3 fatty acids and vitamin D from the smoked salmon. They are good for heart and bones.
Ingredients
- 0.5 lemon
- 75 g cream cheese (13% fat)
- Salt
- Pepper
- 5 stems chervil
- 4 slices whole‑grain rye bread
- 1 small red onion
- 100 g smoked salmon
Instructions
-
1.
Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice. Beat the cream cheese in a bowl until creamy. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
-
2.
Wash the chervil, shake off excess water, pluck the leaves, chop them finely and stir into the cream cheese.
-
3.
Lightly toast the bread slices in a toaster or under a preheated oven grill. Peel the onion and slice it into thin rings.
-
4.
Spread the cream cheese on the toasted bread, top with smoked salmon slices, arrange the onion rings over the salmon, and serve immediately.
