Ingredients

  • 100 g broccoli
  • 6 Eggs
  • 240 ml milk (3.5% fat)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp nutritional yeast
  • 60 g whole wheat flour
  • 40 g soft rolled oats
  • 1.5 tsp Baking Powder
  • 100 g Cheddar cheese

Instructions

    Clean, wash and finely chop or pulse broccoli in a food processor.

    Whisk eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder and nutritional yeast together in a bowl.

    In a separate bowl combine flour, oats and baking powder; grate the cheese.

    Add the dry ingredients along with broccoli and cheese to the egg mixture and stir well.

    Line a muffin tin with paper liners and divide the batter evenly among them.

    Bake the savory muffins for kids in a preheated oven at 180 °C (fan‑forced 160 °C; gas: level 2–3) for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
