- 600 g salmon fillet
- Salt
- 4 kaffir lime leaves
- 1 red chili pepper
- 500 ml coconut milk
- 1 tbsp red curry paste
- 1 tbsp shrimp paste

Wash the salmon, pat dry, cut into 4 portions and season with salt. Wash, dry, and finely slice the kaffir lime leaves. Wash, deseed, remove white membranes from the chili pepper, and slice thinly. Bring coconut milk to a boil in a pot, then stir in curry and shrimp paste.

Reduce the sauce over low heat until it becomes creamy. Add the salmon fillets and simmer for 3 minutes. Season with salt, sugar, and more curry paste. Serve sprinkled with kaffir lime leaves and chili strips.
