Salad Topping

A fresh topping for salads featuring toasted bread cubes and roasted seeds.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of toast bread
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 3 tbsp sunflower seeds

Instructions

    Cut the toast slices into 1-2 cm cubes. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the toast cubes for 3-4 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally until golden brown. Season lightly with salt and pepper and drain on kitchen paper.

    Mix the pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds together. Heat a pan and add the seeds. Roast them for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, then remove immediately and let cool.
