Sage chicken breast served with potatoes and lime slices, garnished with fresh sage leaves.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 12 sage leaves
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 500 g cooked potatoes (leftovers)
  • 2 limes (cut into wedges)
  • sage leaf (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1.

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet, then brown the chicken on both sides over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Remove and keep warm. Peel, chop, and briefly sauté the garlic; add sage and cook until fragrant.

  2. 2.

Meanwhile, cut the potatoes into short sticks and fry them in the remaining butter to make pan‑fried potatoes, seasoning with salt and pepper.

  3. 3.

Slice the chicken breasts and arrange on plates with sage and garlic. Add the pan‑fried potatoes and lime wedges, garnish with a sage leaf, and serve.
