Ingredients

  • 1 kg waxy potatoes
  • 3 eggs
  • 60 g flour
  • Salt
  • Grated nutmeg
  • 0.125 l germination oil
  • 4 tbsp lingonberries
  • 500 g apple sauce

Instructions

    Wash, peel and grate the potatoes on a coarse grater. Press out the liquid with a damp kitchen towel and let sit briefly until the starch settles. Drain the liquid and mix the remaining starch with the potato shreds. Stir in eggs and flour, seasoning with salt and nutmeg.

    Heat some oil in a pan and drop spoonfuls of the potato mixture into the hot fat. Flatten each patty with the back of a spoon and fry on both sides until crisp golden brown. Add more oil if needed. Remove from the pan, drain on kitchen paper, and serve topped with lingonberries.
