Ingredients

  • 6 Bio-rose petals
  • 125 ml apple syrup
  • 125 ml white wine
  • 750 ml white grape juice
  • 22.5 g konfigel (1.5 packets) (gelling agent)
  • 200 g light honey

Instructions

    All fragrant and tasty rose petals are suitable for the gelée. Taste a petal beforehand.

    Cut rose petals into fine strips and pour apple syrup and white wine over them in a jam jar, seal with a lid and let steep darkly at room temperature for 48 hours.

    Whisk honey and grape juice with konfigel until smooth, bring to boil and simmer for 2 minutes. Add the rose petals with the liquid, simmer for another minute, then remove from heat immediately and pour into jars. Keep the jars on the lid for the first 15 minutes.
