Ingredients
- 100 g frozen peas
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 200 g mixed minced meat
- Salt
- chili powder
- 250 g rice
- 1 packet saffron (ground)
- 3 tbsp freshly grated pecorino
- 4 eggs (medium size)
- 3 tbsp Flour
- 50 g breadcrumbs
- oil for frying

Let peas thaw. Peel and dice onion. Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté onion, add minced meat and peas, cook 10-12 minutes. Season with salt and chili powder.

Cook rice in salted water according to package instructions. Dissolve saffron in 2 tbsp warm water, mix with pecorino and 2 eggs, then combine with the cooked rice. Shape the mixture into eight balls. Create a cavity in each ball, fill with 1 tbsp minced meat, then seal the rice around it.
