Spoonsparrow Rejuvelac is a healthy grain beverage full of valuable enzymes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup spelt

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Soak the spelt grains overnight, then rinse and transfer them to a sprouting jar. Allow to germinate for 2 days, rinsing thoroughly three times daily and draining afterwards.

    Place the sprouts in a large mason jar and pour over 4 cups of water. Cover with a cloth and let sit at room temperature for 2 days.

    Strain the Rejuvelac through a sieve.
