Red Wine Fruit Punch

Ingredients

  • 8 peaches (halves) (canned)
  • 100 g pineapple chunks (canned)
  • 2 oranges
  • 200 ml dry red wine
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 600 ml chilled sparkling wine

Instructions

    Cut the peaches into pieces, add them with the pineapple and a splash of canned juice to a punch bowl. Peel one orange with a sharp knife and remove the segments between the membranes; add these to the bowl along with the red wine and lemon juice. Cover and let steep for 1 hour.

    Before serving pour in the chilled sparkling wine. Wash the remaining orange, cut into thin slices.

    Fill glasses with the punch and garnish each with an orange slice before serving.
