Ingredients

  • 6 Eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 kg quark
  • 4 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 packets vanilla pudding
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 75 g Semolina
  • 100 g raisins
  • 50 g candied orange peel
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (top and bottom heat). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

    Beat the eggs with the sugar in a mixing bowl until frothy. Add the remaining ingredients one by one, stirring thoroughly into the quark mixture.

    Spread the batter evenly onto the prepared tray and bake for 60-70 minutes until golden brown. If the cake darkens too much, cover it with foil. Remove from oven, allow to cool, lift from the tray, dust with powdered sugar, and serve cut into pieces.
